Assyrian Women's Society of Tehran
This society is affiliated to the Assyrian Association of Tehran. It is formed by Assyrian women
who act in the fields of culture, charity affairs, art, health, social affairs and sports.
Functions:
- To offer courses and to hold seminars and conferences, and arrange scientific, cultural and art
programs including the publication of bulletins and books.
- To hold and participate in different exhibitions in order to introduce and make known works of
art, and traditional handicraft of Assyrian women.
- To cooperate with Board of Directors of Assyrian Association of Tehran in order to enhance
Assyrian culture and attain the common objectives of Association.
- To cooperate with other women's organizations in order to better introduce Assyrian women.
